ABOUT TEASL

AI capability training and governance consultancy that takes small business teams seriously.

Teasl exists because most AI training does not go far enough. It teaches people to use a chat interface. It does not teach them how to think about AI, how to embed it into real work, or how to use it responsibly, and it rarely addresses the governance that makes AI safe and sustainable. Teasl was built to do that instead.

WHY TEASL EXISTS

We teach teams to think, not just to click.

Most AI training teaches people to click buttons. Teasl teaches teams to think: about context, about what AI is actually doing, about where it genuinely helps and where it needs checking. Every Teasl session is practical, tailored to real workflows, and built around Claude. Governance and responsible use are woven through from the start, because they are not an afterthought. They are part of what makes AI useful. The goal is not for people to leave knowing more about AI. It is for them to work differently as a result.

THREE THINGS TEASL STANDS FOR

Clarity, confidence, care.

Clarity

Plain language, no jargon, no hype. AI is a useful tool with real limitations. Teasl teaches it that way.

Confidence

Skills your team will actually keep. Not a one-off session that fades by Friday, but habits and capability that stick.

Care

Responsible AI use is built into every session. Governance is not a bolt-on. It is how Teasl teaches.

WHO IS BEHIND TEASL

Meet Jo Capel.

I founded Teasl because I could see a gap between what AI training usually delivers and what small business teams actually need. My background is in community leadership and marketing: more than two decades working with people and organisations to communicate clearly and build things that last. I spent several years leading learner communications and community at a global training organisation, where I watched thousands of people engage with new skills, and saw first-hand what makes learning stick and what makes it fade. When AI became something every business was being asked to engage with, I noticed that most of the training available was either too technical, too generic, or too surface-level to produce lasting change. So I built Teasl to do it differently.

I am a CPD-certified AI trainer and AI Governance Professional trained. I write about practical AI for non-technical teams in my weekly newsletter, AI+ Human, on Substack. I am based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North East coast of England.
