This day is planned around your team's actual work. A short pre-session discovery captures what your team does day to day so the practical exercises are built around your real workflows rather than generic examples. You leave with Projects and Skills built and tested on work that matters to you, and a concrete plan for what to build next.
It is structured to work whether participants are new to Claude or already using it. The opening section brings everyone to the same starting point, and the day builds progressively from there, giving teams with more experience room to go further while keeping everything grounded in practice rather than theory.
WHAT THE DAY COVERS
A full day, morning to afternoon.
MORNING SESSION
01
Foundations
A concise run-through of the Claude basics that underpin everything else in the day: universal instructions, memory, and how to set Claude up to work well for your team. A reset for those who have it and an introduction for those who do not.

Context and prompting
How Claude processes information and why it responds the way it does. The practical difference between a prompt that produces something generic and one that produces something you can actually use. This is the context layer made hands-on.

Claude Projects
What Projects are, how they work, and how to build one around your team's real work. Includes a guided exercise: identifying which Project your team should prioritise, and then building it in the session. The morning closes with at least one working Project.
Governance and responsible AI use run through the whole morning rather than sitting as a separate topic.
AFTERNOON SESSION

Claude Skills
A practical introduction to Skills: what they are, how they sit within your Claude setup, and how to build them for the tasks your team does repeatedly. Includes a demonstration followed by a hands-on build activity.

Your AI blueprint
The closing activity of the day. Each participant identifies their top three workflows to build in the week after the session, maps what they now know how to do against those priorities, and leaves with a written plan. The aim is to make sure the day produces forward momentum: real work that starts on Monday rather than knowledge that fades by the following week.
Q&A runs throughout the afternoon.

Claude in Practice is designed for small business teams ready to move from occasional Claude use to something embedded and consistent.
It works well as a natural follow-on to Claude Skills Builder, and equally well as a first full-day investment for teams who want more scope than a two-hour session allows. The full day gives enough time to build, practise, and plan rather than just cover the concepts.
It is particularly suited to teams where at least some participants have started using Claude but are not yet getting consistent, reliable results from it.
